This 2-story home in the historical town of Old Greenwich has a charming and beautifully curated mix of the client’s Asian and fine traditional furnishings. The designer and client worked closely together to complete some needed upgrades. The dining room received new wallpaper and matching draperies and the inside of the cabinetry was finished in a custom mixed grey/green paint. In the master bedroom draperies of heavy Dadar silk were added and Fortuny fabrics were used to reupholster the headboard and footboard of the client’s existing bed. The French Bergere armchair was reupholstered in a Claremont Ikat silk. In the client’s library, the 1950’s chaise lounge was reupholstered in a luxurious Brunschwig & Fils velvet and the curtains are custom in a Lelievre cotton/silk. The designer created the custom daybed in the guest room upholstered in a Clarence House fabric. The final upgrades complimented the already warm and historical feel of this well appointed home.
