This UWS duplex apartment is located in a pre-war landmark building. The White concrete beams are left exposed and one main interior wall was removed to create an open plan giving the space a sense of imposing presence. The backdrop of textured linens, mohair and leather in earthy hues of mustard, browns, terracotta and warm grey lend a rich and inviting approach to the space. In the corner of the main living room is a sectional and brown marble coffee table from Vincent Van Duysen. The Mozart chairs are canalettto walnut frame and woven reed from Flexform, and in the less formal dining room is a late 18th C fruit wood farm table with leather vintage chairs from Poltorna Frau. Both areas are warmly lit with ceiling lights from RBW and vintage European oak floor lamps from Christophe Delcourt. The custom kitchen cabinetry is rift oak in a warm matt finish with a counter-to-ceiling backsplash of pearl grey subway tile.
